Our Past is Expanding
Pleasant Valley Historical Society opened the museum in 1988 and ever since visitors have continued to be amazed at the contents and displays. Featuring the history and progress of the entire Pleasant Valley, we are the only keepers of the Pleasant Valley story which includes Camarillo, Santa Rosa Valley, Somis and multiple family histories.
Our collections have continued to grow, not only in years, but growth of progress as Pleasant Valley's population increases in size. The size and number of our displays continue to grow inside our local museum. Educational opportunities, such as children’s programs and speaker series also continue to grow in size. The Museum Building Expansion Project will allow the museum to meet the expanding needs of museum functions.
We have no paid employees, no government grants, but depend on individual generosity to maintain and expand this important asset for Pleasant Valley. Your donation makes a difference.
