Living History Day


  A fun time for the whole family!  This event is open to the public without charge.

We have a variety of activities scheduled for the children of the community.  It is a great opportunity to learn about the life experiences of our forefathers.  Among the activities planned are:

Making Butter                       Wood Working Skills                     Braided Rug Coaster

Making Tortillas                    Fabric Potato Printing                    Bull Rush / Button String Toy

Grinding grain                        Panning for Gold                            Handkerchief Doll Toy

First Aid                                Night Caps making                       Wash Tub & Scrub Board

Quilting demonstration         Weaving & Spinning-demonstration

We will have Civil War Soldier’s items for display and discussion.
